How to book BSNL IQ (Inspection Quarters)

Finally, BSNL has launched a centralised online booking portal for its Inspection Quarters (IQs) to replace the older manual process and make bookings transparent, fast, and digital. This was inaugurated by CMD BSNL and is now being rolled out across circles. Here’s a clear step-by-step guide on how to book BSNL IQ (Inspection Quarters) covering both the new online and manually system.

BSNL Inspection Quarter (IQ), use the official online https://iqbooking.bsnl.co.in portal launched by BSNL web-based booking system, developed by ITPC Pune.

The IQs at the following SSAs/Units are now available on the portal for online booking

Allowing BSNL employees to search, book, and manage accommodations for all over IQs. The portal aims to let you check availability, book online, and receive instant confirmation.

Steps to Book BSNL IQ (General Process):

Step 1. Access the Portal: Navigate to the official BSNL IQ booking portal (specific URL https://iqbooking.bsnl.co.in provided by ITPC Pune).

Step 2. Login/Register: You'll likely need to log in or register as a BSNL employee.

You need to login with credentials (possibly BSNL employee credentials such as Pers No./HR No.  password/OTP).

PASSWORD- DATE OF BIRTH

LOGIN

ENTER OTP Received

Step 3. Search IQ in City/ Choose the City / Location where you want to stay. Select check-in and check-out dates. The system will show available inspection quarters for your dates.

Step 4. View Details: The list of available IQs with details like type, number of rooms, and features. Click Book / Reserve next to the one you want. Check accommodation Availability details, including room types and rent.

Step 5. Book & Manage: Book your stay and manage reservations through the user-friendly interface, receiving unique booking IDs and alerts. Provide your details (name, designation, purpose of stay, number of people).

Step 6. Confirm & Pay (if applicable)

Review the booking details. Confirm your stay. The portal may have a payment integration depending on the policy for your circle.

Step 7. Receive Confirmation Once done, you’ll get a booking confirmation on screen and by email/SMS. Save or note the booking number for check-in.

Provide Feedback: Use the feedback option after your stay.

Steps for Manual Booking IQs

1. Find the IQ contact details (phone/email) for the city where you want to book.
• There are lists of IQs with contact numbers for each BSNL circle (e.g., Patna, Delhi, etc.).
2. Contact the IQ in‐charge or booking office directly by phone or email.
3. Provide the required information:
• Your Name
• Designation / Category (BSNL / MTNL / DoT / Others)
• Purpose (Personal / Official)
• Dates of stay
• Number of persons
• Contact details
4. You may be asked to fill a booking form and send it by email or attach ID proof.
• Example booking forms exist for certain IQs like Delhi.
5. Wait for confirmation from the IQ office before traveling.
