BSNL IDA RATE or Industrial Dearness Allowance is a type of
allowance given to the employees of Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) under the
Government of India, as well as for the Pensioners as per the price index
number declared by the labor bureau.
However, Industrial Dearness Allowance is not a compulsory
allowance. When it comes to private sector employees, and this means the
private sector companies are not forced to give their employees this kind of
allowance.
BSNL IDA increased by 5.5% w.e.f. 1st July 2022 and IDA will
be 190.8%, for 2007 (2nd PRC) CPSE or PSU employees.
As per Consumer Price Index numbers released by Labour
Bureau on 30-06-2022, IDA is likely to increase by 5.5% w.e.f. 1st July 2022.
Thus, the new IDA rate w.e.f 1st July, 2022 will be 190.8%
[185.3% + 5.5% = 190.8%].
This IDA increase will be payable after DPE issues
the order.
IDA from 1st July 2022, for CPSE, PSU and Govt. employees:
So, the IDA from 1st July 2022 for PSU or CPSE of 3rd PRC
and 2nd PRC and others are known to us after this declaration of May’22 AICPIN.
IDA from 1st July 2022 will be increased by 2.47 % and IDA
will be 32.5 %, for 2017 (3rd PRC) CPSE or PSU employees.
IDA from 1st July 2022 will be increased by 5.52 % and IDA
will be 190.8%, for 2007 (2nd PRC) CPSE or PSU employees.

BSNL IDA increased by 1.2% w.e.f. 1st April 2022 and IDA
will be 185.3%, for 2007 (2nd PRC) CPSE or PSU employees.
As per Consumer Price Index numbers released by Labour
Bureau on 31-03-2022, IDA is likely to increase by 1.2% w.e.f. 1st July 2022.
Thus, the new IDA rate w.e.f 1st April, 2022 will be 185.3%
[184.1% + 1.2% = 185.3.8%]. This IDA increase will be payable after DPE issues
the order.
BSNL IDA Rates from January 2022 may Increase upto 4.9%
BSNL IDA Rates of there employees valid from the 4rd quarter of 2021 – 2022 financial year starts from January 2022. It may again records a “formidable increase” again upto 4.9% from 01.01.2022, after taken outstanding increments of PSU IDA from the starting of this new previous financial year 2021-2022.
As per All India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers CPI(IW) issued by the Department of Labour Bureau, CPI records an increase of 1 points in the first month (September 2021), and 5 points for October 2021, and November price index numbers yet to be released on 31.12.2021.
BSNL IDA Rates from January 2022
Now, IDA Based on this expecting average of three months Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers CPI(IW). BSNL IDA rates of employees and pensioners may increased again as expecting, this may record upto an increase of 4.9% IDA from January 2021 reaches upto 184.2% as total IDA for an BSNL employee.
