DA (Dearness allowance) incerase by 4% for central government employees from Jan 2020

The central government have good news for all central government employees on DA. The Union government had announced 4% in dearness allowance (DA).

The DA has been reached from 17 per cent to 21 per cent on March 13th, 2020 . This decision will be effective from January 1st, 2020 to all government employees.

The decision was implemented by Union Minister Prakash Javadekar during a cabinet meeting. Mr.Javadekar said that this decision will be beneficial for 48 lakh government employees and 65 lakh pensioners.This increment of DA will benefit for 1.13 crore families in all over india.The increase is in accordance with the accepted formula, which is based on the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission, a Press Information Bureau press release stated.

This increase benefit apart from central government employees, even central government pensioners and those receiving family pension from the central government will be benefited from this decision.
